YOUR VISION - OUR KNOW-HOW
Showroom Location:
508 Washington Ave, Iowa Falls, IA
Translating your vision into a home that reflects who you are.
Every client comes to us with a vision — sometimes clear, sometimes just a feeling. Our expertise lies in understanding what you want, even when you can’t yet picture it, and knowing how to translate it into a home that feels unmistakably yours.
How We Work
Homes are complex. Not every project needs the same depth of involvement, and not every homeowner wants the same level of support. That’s why our services are thoughtfully structured into three distinct paths—each designed to meet you where you are, respect your priorities, and move your project forward with intention.
Whether you need a full design partner, expert direction, or beautifully selected products, there’s a clear way to begin.
-

Signature Design
New Construction • Large Remodels • Kitchens & Baths
For large and complex projects where the structure, layout, or core spaces of your home are being reimagined. This is a comprehensive, start-to-finish service that includes space planning, selections, documentation, and close collaboration with your builder, architect, and trades.
If your project impacts how your home functions and flows—and you want a professional partner to guide it from first sketch to final layer—this is your path.
-

Design Advisory
Designer by Your Side • Paint Color Consultation
For smaller-scope projects or phased work where you want professional design direction without full project management. This path is ideal for hands-on homeowners who want a designer’s brain—and professional-level expertise—behind their decisions, while leading execution and moving at their own pace.
Perfect when you value great design and clear direction, but prefer to manage the details independently.
-

Showroom Services
Product Support • Home Furnishings Design
For cabinetry, window treatments, lighting, and home furnishings. From single-product support to full-room furnishings design, this path is ideal when you want professional guidance selecting the right pieces for your home—thoughtfully chosen, properly measured, and tailored to fit your space.
It’s the ease of a showroom experience, elevated by true design expertise.

Not Sure Where You Fit?
That’s completely normal. Most clients start with a brief conversation so we can understand their goals and guide them to the right service.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
Frequently Asked Questions
We know starting a design project comes with a lot of moving parts—and it’s important to find a designer and a process that feels like the right fit. Below, you'll find answers to some of the most common questions we get about how we work and what to expect.
-
Our process is structured to keep things organized, but flexible enough to fit your needs.
We start by getting to know you—how you live, what you like, and what your goals are.
From there, we guide you through each phase, keeping you involved, informed, and excited about your project.
We also work closely with builders and architects when needed to make sure the entire team is on the same page. -
It depends on the size of the project:
New builds and full renovations: 4–8 months to design (up to a year for complex homes).
Kitchen, bath, and single room furnishings projects: About 2 months.
Additions and larger renovations: 3 months or more.
These timelines cover the design phase only. Construction and product lead times are separate and can vary based on your contractor and vendors.
-
The sooner, the better! For new builds, we recommend reaching out at least six - 8 months before construction starts.
We take a limited number of new builds and full renovations per year, so we often book out large projects in advance.
For smaller projects through our Flexible Design Services, we can usually fit you into our schedule more quickly. -
Yes. We’ll help you set a realistic budget based on your goals and priorities. Throughout the design process, we’ll recommend options and make decisions that align with your investment plan.
-
You don’t need to have it all figured out. Part of our process is helping you define your unique style through inspiration, conversation, and a structured discovery process.
-
We work with several great contractors and tradespeople in Central Iowa and are happy to recommend someone once we learn more about your project.
If you already have a builder or contractor, we’re happy to collaborate with them too. -
We support you during construction by coordinating with your contractor, answering design questions, and making site visits when needed.
However, we don’t manage construction labor or timelines—that’s your General Contractor’s role. -
We do not offer licensed architectural services. However, we can draft floor plans for remodels and additions and collaborate with your architect on a new construction project to create functional layouts and cohesive exterior designs.
In Iowa, architect-stamped drawings are generally not required to obtain a building permit for single-family residential new construction or additions.
That said, we always recommend checking with your local building department, as requirements can vary depending on the location and complexity of the project. -
For Signature Design projects, our design fees are based on the scope of work, which we define together during your initial consultation.
We work on a flat-fee basis for the design phase, covering all planning, selections, and documentation. Project oversight, additional scope, or construction-phase support are billed hourly as needed.
Most interior products for your project are sourced through V & Co Design, ensuring consistent quality, seamless coordination, and reliable delivery from our trusted trade partners.
