It’s designed for homeowners who are leading their own project and want professional input along the way—whether that’s refining ideas, solving layout challenges, or making confident design decisions at their own pace.

The other is expert guidance, applied exactly where you need it.

Not at all. Some clients come in with a clear vision, others just know something isn’t working. Both are welcome. Our role is to help you clarify what you need and guide you toward the right solution.

Consultation is focused on paint colors and stains only.

If you’re selecting finishes and want guidance on those decisions, Designer By Your Side is the better fit. That said, if you already have finish samples on hand during your Color Consultation, we are happy to coordinate your paint colors with those selections so everything works together.

Designer By Your Side is best for small-scope projects or defined design needs—such as layout feedback, finish direction, or drawings for your contractor.

If your remodel requires full space planning, detailed selections, sourcing, and coordination, Signature Design is likely the better fit. The Discovery Call helps determine which path will serve you best.

Design Advisory is focused on guidance and documentation. You remain responsible for sourcing, ordering, scheduling, and working with your contractor or trades.

This keeps the service streamlined and allows you to stay in control of execution.

Designer By Your Side is structured as a focused period of designer support, beginning with a minimum engagement of 10 hours. That time is used for meetings, on-site visits, research, drawings, recommendations, and follow-up—applied exactly where you need it.

As your time is used, you’ll always know where things stand. If additional support is needed, more time can be added.

Some portions may be handled remotely, depending on your project. However, most Advisory work is local and in-person to ensure accurate guidance and context. Details are discussed during your Discovery Call.

If your need is limited to paint colors, Color Consultation is the perfect fit—it’s focused, efficient, and designed for exactly that purpose.

For anything broader—layout questions, finish direction, or a series of related decisions—Designer By Your Side begins with a 10-hour engagement. We’ve found this is the minimum amount of time that allows us to provide meaningful value and make a real difference in your project.

If you don’t end up using all of your time, the remaining hours stay on your account for up to 12 months.
