    CUSTOM METAL CABINETRY

    IMDesign takes a completely different approach, building custom cabinetry from aluminum rather than traditional wood-based construction. The material is non-toxic, durable, low-maintenance, and well suited to applications where moisture, changing temperatures, or heavy use are important considerations.

    What makes it especially interesting from a design standpoint is how customizable it can be. Powder-coated colors, matte and gloss finishes, simulated wood grains, and cintered stone door-panel materials allow aluminum cabinetry to move well beyond an industrial look. We can use it in kitchens and bathrooms as well as outdoor spaces and other areas where the performance of aluminum offers a practical advantage.

    Begin with a complimentary Showroom Appointment to tell us about your project, explore cabinetry options and finishes, and discuss your needs, style, and investment.

  • 02 | Preliminary Estimate

    Based on what we learn, we’ll provide preliminary pricing guidance so you have a sense of the likely investment before committing to detailed cabinetry planning.

  • 03 | Measure & Design

    Once you decide to move forward, we’ll complete a field measure and start developing the cabinetry layout, select final finishes & hardware, and plan storage & other details.

  • 04 | Finalize & Order

    We’ll prepare updated pricing based on your final selections, review the design with you for feedback and approval, then place the orders.

  • 05 | Delivery & Installation

    We coordinate delivery to your project and can arrange cabinetry installation or work with your contractor when appropriate.

If your project also requires broader Interior Design help with layout, finishes, lighting, furnishings, or other decisions beyond the cabinetry itself, we can recommend the appropriate level of design involvement.

  • Pricing varies depending on the size of the project, cabinetry construction, finishes, customization, storage features, and other selections. Our custom cabinetry projects require a minimum cabinetry order of $5,000. We’ll discuss your project and investment during the Showroom Appointment and provide preliminary pricing before you commit to detailed cabinetry planning.

  • Our custom cabinetry projects require a minimum budget of $5,000.

    Cabinetry is highly customizable, so costs can vary significantly based on the size of your project, the materials, finishes, and specific design needs. We will provide a detailed estimate after measuring your space and understanding your specific requirements.

  • Lead times vary by manufacturer, finish, customization, and current production schedules. We typically reserve 8-10 weeks for custom cabinetry orders. We’ll review the expected timing for your cabinetry before the order is placed and keep you informed as it moves through production and delivery.

  • Yes. We can coordinate installation with a trusted cabinetry installer or work with your contractor when appropriate.

  • Yes. We can help coordinate cabinetry-related selections so the pieces work together. If the project requires broader design decisions throughout the room, we may recommend a Design Consultation or Interior Design scope.

  • Yes. The showroom includes cabinetry displays, door and finish samples, hardware, and other materials so you can compare options in person before making final selections.
